A lot of people use some kind of gems and special stones which bring good luck to the household or the gem holder if it’s a necklace. Others just say that good luck runs through their family and that it is something they have inherited from their ancestors. But Elon Musk doesn’t agree with those statements. He thinks that you build your own luck. What does he mean by that?

When asked he said, “You have to fight for your future, you have to fight your biggest enemy, and that’s you”. Another sentence that can be understood in many ways. When he said fight it can be understood as fist fighting, but how can you fistfight yourself? It is somehow impossible. Please Elon can you clarify? He said that you fight yourself by not doing things you would like to do at that moment like taking a nap or eating some unhealthy food, you focus on the end result, on the goal you have committed yourself to achieve.

Elon

Okay, Elon now we can understand you, you are talking about making sacrifices to achieve the greater good to feel fulfilled. Did he make a lot of things possible for the whole of humanity by being lucky? I wouldn’t say so. I think people that use the word luck or lucky either want to blame something else for their lack of commitment or not to be cocky about their wins, that’s why they say either I was lucky or I didn’t have enough luck.

Elon proved that luck has nothing to do with your results or with the amount of success you make it’s all you. Of course, if we are talking about winning a lottery ticket that can be pure luck, but still some people win prizes more often than others. I can confirm that is luck but overall luck has nothing to do with your success. You can be lucky and have a parking spot in front of your house instead of that parking spot in the back of the street. Or maybe be lucky to find money on the street, but still, that are not significant victories that make changes.
